Museum collections have been replenished with new exhibits
Participants of the festival will arrive in Kirillov by the ship "Nicolay Bauman" following on a route Moscow - S.Peterburg. Organization committee offered to children's and youth creative collectives to take part in the concert.
The concert will take place on the territory of the Kirillo-Belozersky's memorial estate at the Vologda tower at 19:00 in May, 5, 2009.
The Kirillo-Belozerski museum-reserve, Institute of History of RAS (Russian Academy of Science) and the Northern department of the Archeographic commission of RAS will hold a scientific conference “Culture of Belozerye of the X-XX centuries” devoted to the 85th anniversary of the Kirillo-Belozerski museum-reserve in September, 10-11, 2009.
The 7th Kirillovsky readings started in the Kirillo-Belozersky museum. It is planned to place the texts of the reports of the participants of this conference on our site.
A seminar of teachers of music of the Kirillov district on the theme «Theoretical thoughts in paints» took place in the museum. The participants of the seminar listened to the reports of the scientific workers of the museum about iconography and icon painting. The teachers of Children's school of arts performed sacred music.
Two seminars were organized in the museum. The first one was for the methodical association of teachers of the subject Sources. Its theme was «Theoretical thoughts in paints». The participants listened to the reports of scientific workers of the museum about the icons with the images of the Virgin and the Savior.
