According to the Order of the Federal Agency of culture and cinematography from 12.03.2008 the State museum-exhibition centre transferred to the position of the museum 55 subjects.
Among them there are the graphic sheets of the series «Russian Kremlins», «Solovky», "Ruins", «Romance of the North», «Golden Ring» with the images of architectural monuments of the Kirillo-Belozersky monastery, Veliky Ustyug, Arkhangelsk, Solovky, Suzdal, the Moscow Kremlin.
The ceramic collection will be replenished with sculptures from plaster, marble and chamotte.
Bright modern embroideries of Saransk cloth and towels «Motives of Ryazan» made by skilful masters are of great interest.
In March, 6 the exhibition «Successors of masters of Pomorye» (Arkhangelsk) was opened in the Kirillo-Belozersky museum.
The director of school of National crafts Burchevsky Vladimir Nikolaevichem presented to the museum art products made by the young, talented pupils: a box made of roots, birch-bark and wooden bread-baskets with mezenskaya painting, a carved decorative panel «Old man with a keg», a clay toy "Dancing couple" and a woven towel.
The numismatics fund was replenished with some interesting subjects too. 2 coins to a total value of 20 dollars were bought in the savings bank of the Russian Federation. The fresco of Michelangelo «Adam's Creation» is depicted on the reverse of one coin, on another one - fresco of Leonardo da Vinci "Last Supper". These are silver coins weighing 93,3g and decorated with crystals of Svarovsky.
The director of the museum Ivanova G. O. presented a set of small change of 2008. The set consists of seven coins and a memorable counter coined on the St.-Petersburg min in the anniversary year 2008.
Loginova Tamara Anatolevna living in Vologda gave a beautiful present to the museum - a panel «Lace-maker» made with professional skill.
More than 4 000 negatives and photos were transferred to the museum collection by the resident of Kirillov N.V.Borovikov. Photos and negatives of the 1960-1990s reflect history of the town Kirillov and Vologda regional cultural and educational college. This year it celebrates its 40th anniversary. The cultural life of the town is closely connected with this educational institution.
