




Various events for children and pupils of the town were held in the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve from January 2 to 11 within the framework of the program “Hurrah! We have Vacation! Winter 2015”. In all, 14 events took place during this period. Master-classes were especially popular with the kids. They learnt to make New Year’s tree decorations: lambs using paper, goats (the symbol of the year) using flax, souvenirs “Christmas Angel” using beads and glass beads. Museum employees N.G. Kuzmichyova, L.G. Myakusheva, and T.V. Usova conducted these lessons for boys and girls. M.K. Ivanova (the Museum of Town and District History) taught children to create articles using pine cones and to paint snowflakes with the help of colour salt. K.V. Gusarina told them about the secrets of folk doll making. A lot of people attended the event titled “At Twilight of a Church” held by O.G. Kuzmichyova in the Assumption Cathedral.
