




On January 24, the museum employees went to the elementary school and the kindergarten of the Goritsy village located in the Kirillov district. Anna Kalikina held the event titled “Fairy tales of the old house” for preschool children. Natalya Petrova told first-formers about the folk doll. Thanks to Tatiana Usova and Lyubov Akimova, pupils of the second and third forms learnt what felting was and how to make traditional Russian footwear – felt boots. Fourth-form boys and girls were told a lot about the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery and the culture of Japan by Anna Repina and Tatiana Trubnikova. The employees of the Exposition and Exhibition Department and the Department of Visitor Relations gave seven lectures and delivered four master-classes in Goristy.
