Chronicle leadthrough of restoration works

Cells of the first tier in the walls of the New Town from the Kazanskaja Tower to the Vologda Tower of the Kirillo-Belozersky monastery

Repair and restoration works were finished. In 2011 the electrically heated floors were installed and electrical installation works were carried out in 12 cells.

These works were made by LLC “ Building Department №209” (“Stroitelnoe upravlenie”) (Director – A. Sysoev)

The House of the Father Superior of the Kirillo-Belozersky monastery (XVII-XIX cent.)

Air conditioning and ventilation system was installed by LLC “Gradostroj” (Director – V. Kadulin)

The central cathedral complex of the Kirillo-Belozersky monastery including the Assumption Cathedral (1497) with the northern church porch (XVI cent.) and the western extension (1791), the Church of St. Vladimir (1554)

The Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Interregional Science, Restoration and Art Department” (director – S. Filatov) made the restoration works in the south-eastern part of the dome drum. The wall painting in the cathedral was cleaned and old paintings came to light. The restorers fastened the painting.

The Nativity Cathedral (1490) of the Ferapontov monastery

The Federal State Budgetary Research Institution “State Research and Development Institute” (director – A. Trezvov) made the conservation of Dionisy’s frescoes in the dome drum.

The central cathedral complex of the Kirillo-Belozersky monastery including the Assumption Cathedral (1497) with the northern church porch (XVI cent.) and the western extension (1791), the Church of St. Vladimir (1554)

LLC “Electra” finished the latest round of the restoration works. They made the wall drainage across the cathedral complex, restored the dome and the dome drum.

Research center «Antiquities of the North» (director – I. Papin) carried out the restoration works of the cathedral complex and the archaeological excavations near it.
