A member of the delegation was the ambassador of Bulgaria in Russian Federation Plamen Grozdanov. In the book for especially honored guests he wrote: “The museum is beautiful, the works of the Russian masters are surprising. Thank you that you have preserved everything for humankind.”
On that day the museum received 1300 people. 55 excursions were organized for them.
There were the representatives of the district governing body, the management and the employees of the museum and everybody who took interest in this event.
Presentation of the photo album “At the swans’ cross-roads” took place in the museum “House of the family Brilliantov”. Besides the photos there is poetry of the Vologda poet Nikolai Kluev in this album. On the photos taken by Audrey and Marina Koshelev one can see the native land of the poet and pictures of the family album of Nikolai Kluev. Marina Kosheleva told about the creation of this album and recited some verses.
On that day 1644 people visited the museum. 67 excursions were organized for them.
Some festival actions devoted to the Day of youth were held in Kirillov at the town’s stadium. During the festival an address to the youth of 2039 enclosed in special capsule made by the smith N.V.Mitin was read. Then it was passed to the funds of the Kirillo-Belozersky museum for keeping.
Within the limits of celebrating the Day of the town on June, 20th, 2009 the presentation of 3 exhibitions took place in the museum: "Vologda lace", “Doll’s round dance" and "Rainbow on a floor".
