The Easter Festival was opened by the participants of the regional vocal competition “Kantilena”. The categories of the competition were vocalist, instrument and ensemble. The students of the Kirillov Music and Art School and of the Vologda Culture College, the pupils of the schools of the Kirillov district and of the youth center “Alpha” and amateur talent groups from the village Shindalovo and from Cherepovets took part in the vocal competition.

The Easter concert was held on April 22. It was given by the Sunday-school attached to the Kirillo-Belozersky monastery, the Center for children’s creative activity and the vocal ensemble “May rose”.
