Boris Plotnikov, People’s Artist of Russia, actor of theatre and cinema, will take part in the Art Festival “The Property of Republic” that will be held from August 14 to 15. The distinguished guest will present the program “Hello, Russia, My Motherland” based on the creative work of Vologda’s poet Nikolay Rubtsov for residents and guests of Kirillov.
Boris Plotnikov became famous in 1976 after the release of the film “The Ascent”. Spectators also know him very well thanks to the role of Dr. Bormental in the movie “Heart of a Dog”. In all, he played about 50 parts in different films. Boris Plotnikov has been performing on the stage of the Moscow Art Theatre since 2002.
The meeting with the famous actor will take place in the conference hall of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve on August 15 at 2 p.m. Admission is free.

Opening ceremony of the honey fair and consecration of gifts.

First run of the documentary “For the Sake of Honour, For the Sake of Glory”. Meeting with the film crew (Moscow).

Presentation of the book of film director Yuri Polovnikov titled “Let Me Hug the Time”.
August 15
At 10:00 in the New Town
Fair of honey and articles of local craftsmen.
At 12:00 on the scene of the New Town
Holiday of Folk Art “The Soul of Belozersk Region”. Interactive grounds “Visiting the Story-Teller”, “Folk Tin Whistle”, “Potter’s Wheel”. A ticket for the holiday costs 100 rubles for adults and 50 rubles for pensioners and students. Admission for children is free.
At 14:00 in the conference hall. Admission is free.
Closing ceremony of the Art Festival “The Property of Republic”. People’s Artist of Russia Boris Plotnikov will become a distinguished guest of the festival. He will present the program “Hello, Russia, My Motherland” based on the creative work of Nikolay Rubtsov to the accompaniment of guitarist Vladimir Markushevich (he plays the seven-string guitar).

The museum invites everybody to join in the fair. It is a wonderful chance to sell not only your own bee-keeping produce, but also various home-made preserves – jam, stewed fruit, and so on.
