Two festive events will be held in the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve on August 14 and 15. Both of them are well-known to residents and guests of Kirillov - the Art Festival “The Property of Republic” and a honey fair.
The program will be opened with a special ceremony in the New Town on August 14 at noon. The Art Festival will also include meetings with interesting people, a presentation of the book and a concert. The fair will be open during two days.

At 12:00 in the New Town
Opening ceremony of the honey fair and consecration of gifts.
At 15:00 in the conference hall. Admission is free.
First run of the documentary “For the Sake of Honour, For the Sake of Glory”. Meeting with the film crew (Moscow).
At 18:00 in the conference hall. Admission is free.
Presentation of the book of film director Yuri Polovnikov titled “Let Me Hug the Time”.
August 15
At 10:00 in the New Town
Fair of honey and articles of local craftsmen.
At 12:00 on the scene of the New Town
Holiday of Folk Art “The Soul of Belozersk Region”. Interactive grounds “Visiting the Story-Teller”, “Folk Tin Whistle”, “Potter’s Wheel”. A ticket for the holiday costs 100 rubles for adults and 50 rubles for pensioners and students. Admission for children is free.
At 14:00 in the conference hall. Admission is free.
Closing ceremony of the Art Festival “The Property of Republic”. People’s Artist of Russia Boris Plotnikov will become a distinguished guest of the festival. He will present the program “Hello, Russia, My Motherland” based on the creative work of Nikolay Rubtsov to the accompaniment of guitarist Vladimir Markushevich (he plays the seven-string guitar).

The museum invites everybody to join in the fair. It is a wonderful chance to sell not only your own bee-keeping produce, but also various home-made preserves – jam, stewed fruit, and so on.
