Dear visitors, the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve presents the new display titled “Rostov Enamel of the 18th-21st Centuries: From Icon to Decoration”. We invite everybody to attend the opening ceremony scheduled for August 6. It will begin in the Refectory at 2 p.m.
Visitors will be able to see exhibits from the holdings of the State Museum-Reserve “Rostov Kremlin” that possesses one of the largest enamel collections in Russia. It is the local art of enamel work on metal. You will learn about the development history of his well-known craft from its origin (the second half of the 18th century) up to the present.
