Spectators of the Festival of Historical Reenactment “Character of the North” will witness a gripping show. An interesting event of the past will take place right in front of their eyes: arrangements and seeing-off of the bride to another principality. Not only the future coupe, but all the people are looking forward to the weeding scheduled for Christmas. This marriage will help to strengthen the union of Russian cities. But during the long way, the princess and her suite will have to experience dangerous and unpredictable events…
This story will be presented by the clubs of historical reenactments to residents and guests of Kirillov during the exhibition performance on January 5, 2015. It will begin in the New Town area of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve at noon.
Besides, spectators will be able to see full contact fights, final fights of the tournaments in the sections “Shield and Sword” and “Two-Handed Axe”, fistfights, wall-to-wall fist fighting and cane fighting. The festival will be concluded with a fire show. Traditionally, a trade fair will be open during the event and playgrounds will be prepared for children.
The clubs of historical reenactments from St. Petersburg, Vyborg, Petrozavodsk, Veliky Novgorod, Pskov, Cherepovets, the Ivanovo region and the group of fist fighters “Busa” will take part in the performances.
You will be able to buy tickets before the beginning of the festival in the museum ticket-office. Residents of Cherepovets can already do it in the shopping mall “Yuzhok”, 3rd floor, office 15.
The entrance ticket costs 50 rubles - for children, 150 rubles - for adults. A discount ticket costs 120 rubles. You can also buy a family ticket that costs 400 rubles and additionally see two museum exhibitions free of charge.
