The viewing platform of the bell-tower of the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery is usually closed in winter. But museums visitors have a wonderful opportunity to go to the top tier and to admire a bird’s-eye view of the architectural monuments and the outskirts of Kirillov for the second weekend running.
Please note: the bell-tower will be open for visitors till the end of the year and only at the weekend from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission by ticket.
Besides, various temporary and permanent exhibitions will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can see some of them absolutely free of charge:
“90th Anniversary of Museum Foundation” (in the parvis of the Refectory)
“Museum and I” (in the Guard-rooms)
The display “Sketches of Different Years…” about the creative work of Nikolay Baskakov and Dzhanna Tutundzhan is open in the conference hall on workdays.
The action for pupils and students:
The action for pupils and students started in the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve in November. It will last till the end of the year. If they book a tour of the expositions “Antiquities of Belozersk District”, Folk Art of Belozersk District” and the Museum of Town and District History, they will pay only the guide service. They won’t have to buy entrance tickets that will be given free of charge.
