It is rather difficult to tell about historical events in an interesting way. It is much more difficult to tell about establishment and further development of any organization. But students of the Vologda Regional Training School of Culture tried to do it and succeeded.
The themed parties “Vivat, Museum!” about the 90th anniversary of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve took place in the conference hall during three days. Pupils of the town and district schools, employees and members of the veterans’ museum organization attended them.
“Vivat, Museum!” is an event with elements of the theatricalized performance that gave visitors a chance to move from one epoch to another. Without getting on their feet during less than an hour, they managed to get to the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union and to return to present-day Russia. Any “trip” was certainly connected with the milestones of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve. The first attempts to establish a museum within the walls of the functional monastery dated back to the early 20th century. In reality, it happened already after the October Revolution, in 1924. The museum developed in the Soviet time, having experienced various reorganizations and having withstood the difficult 1990s together with the whole country.
The students of the Vologda Regional Training School of Culture headed by S.A. Chekushina and V.L. Nuzhina, performed very well telling about the museum history. During the whole event spectators could see photos connected the performance on the stage on a large screen. For example, when students presented the period of the Great Patriotic War, they saw pictures and listened to the stories of local residents – participants of the military actions.
