Participants of the conference held by the Parliamentary Association of the North-West of Russia in Vologda on November 13 have come to the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve today. The guests have seen the architectural monuments and the exhibition about the history of the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery and other cloisters of the region in the Refectory. They have also gone to the area of the functional monastery. Besides, the group has visited the Museum of Dionisy’s Frescoes on this day.
The Parliamentary Association of the North-West of Russia is an advisory and consultative body established to elaborate united approaches to execution of legislation. According to the reports of the Vologda mass media, deputies of 11 Russian regions took part in the conference. They represented all legislative bodies of the North-West – from Kaliningrad to Naryan Mar. The most important issues the regions worried about were discussed at the event. For instance, abolition of the social norm for energy consumption that was to be introduced in summer 2014; or introduction of the draft exemption for students of vocational education institutions.
