The Belarusian Orthodox trade fair of the St. Elisabeth Convent (Belarus) has been opened in the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve this week. You can buy icons, books, discs, jewellery, souvenirs, cosmetics, earthenware, household objects and biscuits.
“The trade fair consists of two parts. In the first one, we sell goods of the convent workshops, there are about 40 of them. The exposition “Belarusian House” is located in the second one. Besides, our puppet theater presents two performances there. They are on the religious subject and are very interesting for children”, said nun Maria Litvinova. The plays are presented almost every hour from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nun Maria also holds spiritual talks.
The fair will be open till May 28.
