The International Festival “Intermuseum 2014” organized by the Ministry of Culture of the RF has been opened in the Manezh Central Exhibition Hall today at noon. It is rightly considered to be the main event in the professional life of the museums of Russia and the near-abroad countries. The central subject of this year’s festival is “Museum to the Digital Epoch” – “Museum in the Information Space”. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky and Moscow’s Mayor Sergey Sobyanin attended the official opening ceremony.
The Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve is a permanent participant of the “Intermuseum” Festival that is held in Moscow every year in early June.
