There is less than a month left till one of the most spectacular summer events in the Vologda region. The 12th International Theatrical Festival “Voices of History” will be opened in Kremlin Square of Vologda on June 24. Spectators will be able to see performances based on the works of Russian and foreign classical authors and modern writers and an opera in two acts.
Vologda has been hosting the Theatrical Festival “Voices of History” for many years. Since 2010, performances have been presented in Cherepovets. Kirillov will join two festival cities of the Vologda region this summer. The stage for the artists will be given by the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve that is celebrating the 90th anniversary of its foundation in 2014.
The Vologda Drama Chamber Theatre will present the play “Shakespeare-RUSSKIY” and the Berezniki Drama Theatre (the Perm Territory) – “My Distance Carriage” in Kirillov within the framework of the main festival program. Besides, the museum will also take part in the additional program titled “Echo of the Festival”. People will be able to see the performance “Money. Craftiness, Love” based on the works of Mikhail Zoshchenko. It was staged by the Vologda Drama Theatre.
