Artists of the Vologda Drama Theatre will enter onto the scene of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve on Sunday, July 6. They will present an interesting comedy based on the works of Mikhail Zoshchenko. It is titled “Money. Craftiness. Love”. This play is included into the additional program “Echo of the Festival”. A ticket costs 300 rubles, pensioners are given discounts. The performance will begin at 19:00.
The 12th International Theatrical Festival “Voices of History” came to an end on July 2. Its closing ceremony was held on the summer stage of the Actors’ House in Vologda. According to the materials placed on the websites of the Vologda Oblast Government and cultinfo.ru, theatre-goers of the Vologda region could see 17 performances staged by 11 theatres of Vologda, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Kirov, Magnitogorsk and Berezniki. They were presented in three cities - Vologda, Cherepovets and Kirillov – for the first time in the festival history. The actors performed on eight various theatre grounds, four of them were in the open air. More than 4000 tickets were sold for the plays.
O.A. Vasiliev, chairman of the organizing committee of the festival, Deputy Governor of the Vologda region, gave a letter of gratitude to the staff of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve for preparation and holding of the event.
