The exhibition “Museum and I” was opened in the Guard-rooms of the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve. It presents works of the winners of three contests that were held on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the museum foundation. They started in early 2014 and applications were accepted till September. Residents of Kirillov, Vologda, Cherepovets, Ferapontovo, Talitsy, Ivanov Bor took part in them. Some of them applied for participation in several contests.
The solemn opening ceremony of the display was held over the last weekend. The youngest and the oldest contestants – Kirill Vasintsev and Mikhail Lobovkin – were honoured to cut the traditional red ribbon at the entrance to the exhibition hall. Then museum employees A.N. Repina and N.I. Khrulyova started the award ceremony.
The largest number of works was sent to the contest of drawings “I am in the Museum”. Therefore winners were determined in several age groups. Everybody was given a diploma and a prize.
