The scientific conference “12th Kirillov’s Readings” marking the 90th anniversary of the museum foundation will be held in the Kirillo-Belozersky Museum-Reserve on April 4, 2014. The program of the event and the list of participants have already been approved.
By tradition, the conference will begin at 10 o’clock in the morning and will last till evening. There will be a lunch break and coffee-breaks. Work of this year’s readings will be organized in two sections: “Architecture, history, archeology, folklore, museology” and “History, local studies”. A plenary meeting will take place within the framework of the conference. Every participant will have 10-15 minutes to give a report. Employees of Russian museums and various cultural institutions, pupils – winners of the district stage of the conference “World through Culture”, students of the History Department in Vologda State Teachers’ Training University will join in the readings.
