The guests also showed their creative skills and tried to paint monuments of the Ferapontov Monastery on fabric.
A lot of people wanted to get to mysterious atmosphere and to go along dark narrow stairs and storages and participated in the quest-tour “In search of a secret room”. They managed to find a treasure in the hiding-place of the monastery and learnt many new and interesting things about the history of the cloister. We remind you that everybody can make such a tour of the ancient monuments of the Ferapontov Monastery.
The museum visitors got an opportunity to see a puppet-show of the Nativity on the Christmas Eve and on the holiday itself celebrated on January 7. Children and adults watched a traditional Christmas performance presented with the help of puppets in a special wooden box that helped them to understand the essence of the Nativity of Christ. They made a Christmas star at the master-class after the performance.
The museum employees thank everybody who could come and take part in the New Year’s events.
