The first New Year’s shows took place in the Kirillo-Belozersky museum-reserve yesterday. Children who came to the party could get to a real winter fairy tale. But it was an unusual tale because it was about one of the main events of 2014 in Russia – the Olympic Games in Sochi.
The Fox and the Snowman welcomed the kids in the street and invited them to the conference hall. It was an unusual story telling how the forest dwellers Hare and Squirrel together with Snow Maiden looked for …. a coach for Novogodik so that he could take part in the Olympic Games. The Penguin, the Olympic Bare (from the 1980 Olympic Games) and Father Frost helped them to do it. The Fox and the Wolf prevented the kind characters, but didn’t succeed and the story had a happy ending. During the performance, children danced and sang in a ring, participated in games and certainly recited poems to Father Frost and Snow Maiden who gave them sweet presents.
Parents who also attended the event signed the guestbook. Here are some of their opinions:
“We thank all participants for this New Year’s performance. All parents and children were in good spirits. We wish you success in 2014!”
“We liked the New Year’s party very much. Everything was beautiful and interesting!”
“We are very grateful to all organizers and actors for this New Year’s show. Interesting, professional, merrily!”
Two more New Year’s parties will take place in the museum today. In all, it is planned to hold 10 events. Children of different age participate in them. The festive performance has been fully prepared by the students of the Vologda Regional Training School of Culture (their specialty is “Organization of Cultural and Leisure Activity”) under the direction of their teachers Svetlana Chekushina and Valentina Nuzhina.
