This one-man exhibition presents water-colours of the successful graphic artist and future muralist. During this time, along with new bright impressions of the study in the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg, Ivan Zaitsev has craving for his native region. He could understand it only parting with it for a long time. Besides, a small part of the exhibition is an attempt to compare works that combine various tasks: training and creative, subject compositions and plein air. They reflect the beauty of different seasons: brilliance of summer and poetry of northern winter. The artist’s works are notable for the classical approach in the use of water-colour technique and tactful performance. They are very lyrical.
