Representatives of the princely dynasty of Lichtenstein - Prince Philipp von und zu Lichtenstein and Princess Isabelle - visited the Kirillo-Belozersky museum-reserve. They made an unofficial visit to Russia.
A tour of the museum grounds and exhibitions in the House of the Father Superior was conducted for the guests. They also ascended the bell-tower and went to the Church of St. Kirill. They were amazed at the exposition “Old Russian Painting of the 15th-17th Centuries”. Prince Philippe signed the Distinguished Visitors’ Book: “A wonderful world of art and faith! A guide for a life!”
The Principality of Liechtenstein is located in Central Europe and was named after the ruling dynasty. It is a minnow state along with Luxemburg, Monaco and Andorra that got its independence in 1866. It is a constitutional monarchy. Prince Philippe is a brother of the reigning Prince of Liechtenstein, Hans-Adam II. He is the president of the Liechtenstein Family Foundation. The family of the head of state has the world’s largest private collections of art objects.
