The exhibition of the International Landscape Centre “Golden Age” was opened in the Kirillo-Belozersky museum-reserve. Its goal is to attract attention to the most important problem of modern times – communication of people with nature. This question is still topical now and is regularly raised by the world community, in particular, by such organizations as the UNO and the UNESCO.
Various art objects are presented at the exhibition: “Continent – Golden Age”, “Landscape Module”, the book and the map “Soul of Landscape”, the draft architectural design “House of Landscapes”, the Tree of Harmony and so on. Their authors, Natalya and Viktor Pozhidaevs, have made an attempt to express the idea of sustainable development of life that can be possible only under the condition of harmonious communication of people with nature, by means of symbols. They have also made the project aimed at the establishment of the International Landscape Centre. It is based on the strategic work of Natalya Pozhidaeva, President of the Fund for Saving National Landscape, concerning the formation of a system of social and natural landscapes in our country. The initiative of preservation and use of the landscape potential of Russia and the world community has been approved by the Council of Europe and is supported by the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
