A new exhibition staged in the Kirillo-Belozersky museum-reserve will be opened in the conference hall on August 3 at 15:00.
St. Petersburg’s artist Mikhail Matveev was born in Kirillov, therefore it is not surprising that he often turns to the subject of his small Motherland in his works. The Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery, the Ferapontov Monastery, the Goritsy Convent of the Resurrection, church ensembles of St. Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Murom, Suzdal and Rostov the Great can be seen in his pictures. The artist often travels not only in Russia, but also abroad. Drawings with the views of European cities – Venice, Stockholm, Tallinn, Lvov, and Copenhagen will be displayed at the exhibition.
It will be open till September 30. You can get information about opening hours by telephone: +7 (81757) 3-14-79.
