The festival of historical reenactment “Kirillo-Belozersky Siege” will take place in the museum from June 8 to 9. Its guests will get to the atmosphere of the 17th century.
The program will be full of different events like in the previous years: the reenactment of the monastery defence, a field battle, a historical defile, and contests. Interactive medieval grounds will be open during the whole festival.
This festival is organized by the Tula City Youth Club of Historical Reenactment and Fencing. In all, about 140 people plan to take part in the event. They will come from different cities and regions of Russia – Cherepovets, Moscow, Ivanovo, Tula, Elets, and Kaluga. Kirillov will be represented by the club of historical reenactment “Tsar’s Stronghold”. There will be some new participants as the “Reiters” club and the club of historical reenactment of the 17th-century Cossacks from Moscow and Tver.
It is worth reminding that it will be the fourth festival of historical reenactment in Kirillov.
