The Second Easter Festival “Low Sunday” will be held in the Kirillo-Belozersky museum-reserve from May 5 to 18. This is a full program of events, including the Night at the Museum 2013.
May 5
12:30, 14:30 – an interactive performance “Pirate Fairy Tale” for children aged 4 and older (conference hall, a ticket costs 150 roubles).
13:00 – “Easter angel” – a master-class delivered by Marina Vasilieva (Doll’s House in the fortifications of the monastery, admission is free).
14:00 – an Easter exhibition and concert performances of Elena Vyazigina and Gennady Golubev in the Museum of town and district history (103 Gagarin Street, admission is free).
May 9
Open Day for veterans of the Great Patriotic War and homefront workers.
13:00 – a concert of Honoured Artist of Russia Alexander Sudin “Wartime Songs” (conference hall, admission is free).
May 12
12:00 – “Red Neck” – an Easter performance of the Sunday school pupils (conference hall, admission is free).
May 15
17:30 – A present for local residents on the occasion of the International Day of Families!
“Simple Sounds of My Motherland” – an evening of songs composed to the verses of Vologda’s poets. The trio “Doverie (Trust)” from Sokol and Vologda will sing for you (conference hall, admission is free).
May 18 – CHILDREN’S DAY IN THE MUSEUM
From 10:00 to 17:00 – master-classes for kids and adults (Doll’s House, exhibitions and expositions).
12:00 – the theatrical group of the Centre of Creative Activity for Children and Youth will present poems, sketches, prose of V. Shukshin, I. Shmelyov, A. Yashin and others (conference hall, admission is free).
“NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 2013”
The bell tower and the monk’s cell are open for visitors from 18:00 to 22:00.
20:00 – the Governor Orchestra of Folk Instruments in the music story about the origin of Russian folk instruments. An interactive program! Everybody will be kept amused! (conference hall, admission is free).
