A solemn event marking the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Social rehabilitation centre in Kirillov was held in the conference hall of the museum.
It was an important year for the institution. Firstly, it was given a new name – “Centre of social assistance to family and children” and the range of its services provided certainly for free was enlarged. Secondly, soon the centre will move to a new building. But the objective of its activity is the same - to help people, both adults and kids.
Sergey Usov, head of the Kirillov district, representatives of the town administration and the guardianship board of the institution, heads of different town organizations came to congratulate the staff of the centre on all these significant events. Ilya Smirnov, deputy director of the Kirillo-Belozersky museum-reserve, offered congratulation on behalf of all museum employees. Our museum has been cooperating with the centre for many years, in particular, when preparing for events for children.
Both kids and adults made their creative presents on that day – they sang songs, danced and recited poems.
