It is usually held in the school of the Alyoshino village. This year’s tenth conference was organized within the framework of the targeted program “For spiritual and moral heath”. It was a joint project of the Kirillov District Administration and the Belozersk rural dean’s district of the Vologda eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church. Specialists of Vologda, Cherepovets, Belozersk, Kirillov and the Kirillov district took part in the event.

The museum employees gave a report “Educational work experience within the framework of the military and historical club “Tsar’s Stronghold” and presented a travelling display “Famous Residents of Kirillov”. The organizers of the conference prepared interesting practical lessons along with the theoretical part: a presentation of the room of spiritual and moral development in the Alyoshinskaya School and a master-class “Applied Arts”. A resolution with the address to heads of educational institutions, local self-government bodies and mass media was adopted according to the results of the conference.

It is not by chance that similar events regarding issues of spiritual and moral education are arranged in the school of the Alyoshino village: this educational institution works within the framework of the program “Spiritual and moral development of pupils”. Basics of the Orthodox Culture have been taught in this school since 2003. It is aimed at the introduction of children and youth to the Orthodox cultural values.
