The Family Day consecrated to the memory of Nikolai Rubtsov was held in the museum on January 27. Its program included a presentation of the photo display and the photo album “What I will remember” created by Marina and Andrey Koshelevs (along Rubtsov’s places).
This event was initiated by the teacher of the Kirillov secondary school Nadezhda Ilyichyova. She has been carrying out research on the subject “Kirillov and Nikolai Rubtsov” together with her pupils for more than 10 years. Her first meeting with Marina Kosheleva took place in 2004. Marina collected materials about the poet and got acquainted with the works of Nadezhda Ilyichyova and her pupils. By the way, these works were presented at the Kirillov Readings in the museum and published in the reporter “World of the Museum”.
Marina Kosheleva lived in the Altai Republic, but often went to the Vologda region. Once her aunt gave her a book of Nikolai Rubtsov titled “Green flowers”. And Marina together her husband Andrey started to make photo displays for the love of the poet’s creative work. Their photo exhibition marking the 70th anniversary of Nikolai Rubtsov’s birth was presented in different Russian cities and in 2006 – in the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
Marina and Andrey Koshelevs, ardent admirers of the Rubtsov’s verse, published a book-photo album “What Will I Remember? Photo Suites to Nikolai Rubtsov’s Verse”. Its first presentation was held in Zelenograd where the authors lived.
At the presentation which took place in the Kirillo-Belozersky museum-reserve last Sunday, Marina Kosheleva gave this book to the museum, the district library, the Kirillov school and the event organizers. People who came to the meeting could listen to the songs composed to the verse of Nikolai Rubtsov and poems dedicated to him.
The new meeting with Nikolai Rubtsov’s oeuvre became a significant event in the cultural life of Kirillov. We invite all residents and guests of the town to visit a wonderful photo display of Marina and Andrey Koshelevs “What I will remember” in the conference hall of the museum. The exhibition will be open till the end of February.
