He is a talented lecturer and collector. He designed more than 100 performances of ballet and opera on the stages of leading theaters in 25 countries. A.Vasiliev teaches history of dress and fashion all over the world. He was awarded to the gold medal of the Academy of Arts of Russia and medals of S.P.Dyagilev and V.F.Nizhinsky.
The manager of the architectural-restoration team ¹ 8 of the institute “Spetsproektrestavratsia” B.D.Lurie visited the museum.
He appreciated the restoration of the church of the Deposition of the Robe. Without any doubt the restoration is held very carefully. This church is not only the monument of architecture, but also the monument of unsurpassed skill.
The restoration works are held by A.V.Popov. He has knowledge about construction of the church and applies the old technologies and tools.
B.D.Lurie said that only the disassembling of the church can give maximum information about the monument. All wooden monuments in Russia need restoration. If the disassembling were always applied, all the monuments would be preserved.
